last one for today: Kate calligraphy. Its a traditional font, but is a bit more weighted than Georgiana for a bit more personality.

Georgianna calligraphy font: I love this style – its elegant, classic and very traditional, perfect for invitations for a formal wedding or event.

So Im getting ready to add all my calligraphy as products to my website so it call all be ordered online {so exciting!!}. In preperation, Im documenting all the fonts and naming them, this one being “Jenny.”

Happy Engagement card with calligraphy

A good friend of my hubby recently got engaged to his long time girlfriend {horray!} and I wanted to create a pretty little card to send them to congratulate them on their engagement. I used buttercup yellow, chocolate brown and a pretty opaque blue calligraphy.

The enveloeps were lined in matching paper {as usual, you know how much I LOVE envelope liners!}

I created a monogram with the couple’s first initials:

I used Paper Source’s diagnal fold enclosures to hold the card. I wrote their names on the cover and created a wrap around band out of the same pattern.

A little card was tucked inside with our congratulatory note:

{Surprise Party invitations}

I have two new wonderful interns/helpers, Lauren and Taylor. They are working together to throw their amazing mother a surprise birthday brunch. Lauren wanted to begin learning how to design invitations, so we worked together on this little project:

Lace wedding invitations

I almost forgot about these invitations! I did them a while ago and never posted them! The invitation suite itself was wrapped in vintage style lace that I hand dyed with tea to give a more vintage feel to it. I also added jewels into the swirls for some sparkle. I love the envelope liners as well!

Custom Rehearsal Dinner Invitations

We all remember Courtney and Dans wedding from last fall, however, I realized that I never blogged their rehearsal dinner invites! Courtney wanted to go in a completly different direction than the formal black and white invitations. We used their accent color, purple, and paired it with marigold with white, modern calligraphy.

Easter Brunch Centerpieces

Right around Easter time, the Wisterias start to bloom. They remind me of my childhood and going to the Wisteria Candy Cottage for Easter candy; the scent, the gorgeous color and the gracefull blooms. This year for Easter brunch, I created this Wisteria tower with the delicate purple blooms overflowing over the baskets.

wow, those peeps are bright. They should have come in pastel.

Our menu consisted of Easter Salad, scalloped potatoes and leeks, blanched asparagus, and pineapple glazed ham.

My first calligraphy class!

Last month I tought my first calligraphy class! The class was held at the Paper Souce in Carlsbad where they set up our table, ink, pens and some Paper Souce goodies to play with. We lined the table with brown craft paper and I wrote all the students names in white calligraphy above each seat.

Miss Aileen Tran was a star student! She was naturally predisposed to be amazing with a great artistic background. See more of her amazing work with her mom, Karen Tran, here!

First, we practiced in little notebooks, then moved to more intimidating pieces, like envelopes!

The lovely miss Carlena from Paper Souce made up these adorable signs for the two different calligrpahy classes being taught (mine are the bottom two envelopes)

If you have never visited a Paper Source, its an amazing and dreamy place!

Cherry Blossom Wedding Invitation

This is a lovely little invitation is perfect for a spring wedding! We love the semi custom envelope liners bearing hte couple’s new combined monogram as well.
